Based at the company’s flagship manufacturing site, which has recently benefited from significant expansion, this role will have responsibility for developing and implementing a progressive engineering strategy, ensuring optimised reliability, availability, output, safety, cost, and statutory and regulatory compliance across a wide range of assets. Leading a multi-disciplinary team of professional engineers, the emphasis of the role will be on the deployment of a proactive, risk-based approach to asset management whilst overseeing the ongoing delivery of engineering improvements and development projects.
Candidates, preferably degree-qualified Electrical or Mechanical Engineers, will have proven engineering leadership experience gained in an asset-intensive, medium/heavy process industry environment. A strong, modern leadership profile is essential, including the ability to nurture a high-performing team-based culture, and ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate how they have influenced engineering standards and plant performance by engaging others in change and continuous improvement.
