The company, which is PE-backed and primed for ongoing growth and investment, is now seeking a talented Director of Ecommerce to lead and shape the ecommerce strategy aligned with short, medium and long-term business goals.
Reporting to the Group MD, this newly created role will work across multiple brands, teams and source markets to improve digital distribution effectiveness by ensuring the merchandising and optimisation of the core ecommerce platform are aligned with the company’s commercial priorities and growth ambitions The emphasis of the role will be on identifying key developments which will drive the effectiveness of the ecommerce platform, contributing toward the wider digital strategy and customer experience initiatives, whilst overseeing the creation of a data-driven and performance-led team, providing analysis, insight and business intelligence for faster, more effective decision making.
Ideal candidates will have proven digital leadership experience gained in a similar role with a recognised brand owner in the travel, leisure, hospitality, retail, consumer services sector or similar. Candidates will be highly commercial with a track record of improving business performance in roles which require a combination of trading, strategy, data and marketing experience. The ability to influence and inspire a wide range of stakeholders across the Group is prerequisite and high calibre candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic international environment.
